  1. Entry fees are listed on the flyer. Each participant will be entered into the St. Kieran Catholic School Golf Ball Drop to take place on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at St. Kieran Catholic Church. Participants may enter more than once. Participants will be assigned a numbered golf ball(s) based on their entry. A minimum of 400 golf balls must be sold for the event for the golf ball drop to occur.
  2. On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, the numbered golf balls will be placed randomly in a bucket, hoisted above the ground and dropped onto the field at St. Kieran’s Church. The participant whose golf ball goes into the hole first will receive a cash prize of up to $2,000. The actual grand prize is determined by the number of golf balls sold. If more than one golf ball goes into the hole, those golf balls will be recorded with the second, third and forth golf ball being the closest to the bottom of the hole, and held in reserve until the first place winner claims his/her prize.
  3. If no golf ball goes into the hole, then the golf ball landing the closest to the hole will win. The golf ball closest to the hole will be determined by measuring the distance from the center of the hole in receding order in the event the first place prize winner does not claim his/her prize.
  4. The winner will be announced at the Golf ball Drop and at the site of the Annual St. Kieran Catholic School Golf Tournament and need not be present to win. The winner will be notified via phone and/or email in the event the winner is not present at the Annual Golf Tournament.
  5. If the Golf Ball Drop should be canceled for any reason, all money collected will be donated to St. Kieran Catholic School in El Cajon. St. Kieran Catholic School is not responsible for the postponement or cancellation of the event and will not substitute the prize should this occurrence so arise.

    Incomplete forms will not be accepted. Golf Ball purchases are non-refundable.
  7. All entries become property of St. Kieran Catholic School and will not be returned. If the winner cannot be located or fails to claim the first prize within thirty days after notification, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next winner in line as provided under the Golf Ball Drop Rules above. If no winner comes forth after attempting to contact the four separate, sequential winners as provided in the Golf Ball Drop Rules above, then the first prize will be forfeited.
  8. All federal, local, and state taxes are the sole responsibility of the individual winners.
  9. Any questions regarding the drop can be directed to skcs.golf@gmail.com.
  10. If e-mail address is illegible on ball drop registration sheet, we will make an attempt to send ball numbers to that e-mail address, but if it fails, the numbers will be issued and no further action will be taken to gather an address. They may not receive an email with their numbers, but they will still be eligible for the contest with the appropriate number of ball entries.
